Welcome to the web site for Desert Friends of Music, an organization of St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church, Palm Desert, CA. You are invited to visit the church’s web site for information about worship services and other activities of the church. Each year Desert Friends of Music sponsors a series of public concerts in the church’s sanctuary. Now in its fifteenth season, previous year’s series have included performances by outstanding groups such as The Vienna Choir Boys, Canterbury Cathedral Choir, Chanticleer, Cornell University Glee Club, the Westminster Choir, Boston Brass, the Westminster Chorus, the USC Chamber Choir, Libera, Canadian Brass, Boston Brass,The Side Street Strutters Jazz Band, and world-renowned organists Frederick Swann, John Scott, Richard Elliott, Ken Cowan, Nathan Laube, James O’Donnell, Christopher Houlihan, Thomas Trotter, Simon Johnson and Isabelle Demers. 30-minute Noonday Organ Concerts each Friday in Lent

These free, 30-minute recitals will be at noon each Friday during Lent 2017.  A light soup and sandwich lunch, provided by members of the St. Margaret’s Choir, will be available following each concert.  We hope you can join us for one or all of these special concerts.  Each performer is listed below with his current and former positions.
